Ground Improvement techniques are required to stabilize, strengthen, consolidate, create imperviousness & increasing the bearing capacity of the existing grounds.
Besides other general ground improvement techniques, we are highly specialized and experienced in Jet Grouting & Chemical Grouting.
Jet Grouting
Jet Grouting involves the injection of cement grout mixtures at very high pressure (500-800 bars) and velocity into soft ground, mixing or replacing it with cement slurry to form a hardened cemented mass. In contrast to its original soft, loose matrix & porous properties, the grouted soil/ fractured rock mass has stronger bond matrix and almost impervious properties. Such improved soil/ rock mass can be used as water cut off walls, temporary retaining / support walls & roofs for tunnels and shafts and rectification of foundation settlement in structures.
Chemical Grouting
This is a highly specialized technology mostly used where problem exists due to high water ingress and where normal grouting is not applicable. This technology is applicable in structures carrying water or when submerged in water.
